In many cases, such as turbine oil, lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, circulating oil, etc., it is necessary to measure and analyze their corrosion and rusting of iron components in order to determine the quality of the oil or the degree of corrosion and rusting of machinery and equipment.The instrument provides a constant temperature environment (usually 60 ℃) to the sample oil through a constant temperature water bath. A standard test steel rod (in accordance with national standards) is placed in a constant temperature oil sample (sample oil+additives) and stirred for a certain period of time (usually 24 hours, the instrument can automatically time). It is then removed and inspected under normal light for the number and size of any visible rust spots and stripes on the test steel rod, in order to determine the corrosion resistance of the sample to metal.
